Model 67 goes to the range
Due to time constraints I was only able to shoot a couple groups other than sight-in.
Ammunition was Magtech Semi Jacketed 158gr +P.
The first few shots at 7yds were promising.
After sighting in, a group was fired at 15 yards.
This gun is capable of touching all rounds at this distance. Any variance there was mine, as all shooting was standing unsupported with a two hand hold in single action.
It ain't pretty but it looks to have a lot of potential.

The boy shoots it here, with the fire breathing creating an odd optical effect.

Very cool! I love my 67 (though it has the old tapered barrel). Great balance.

The 67 is a great revolver. And this gives me the opportunity to post pictures (again). Now that I have a new camera, I have to update the photos. Anyway, here is my no dash 67 from 1972. Has numbered magna stocks, but I put them away and have smooth targets on it for now:

DR505: I have your 67's no-dash sibling from 1972: 3K34xxx. Have you also had the problem of the lug securing the thumb latch working loose? Or with the screw securing the top strap?

Yes, especially with +P loads. Not sure how best to address it, other than have a screwdriver handy and check. In my parts bag I have spare screws, just in case.

I have several stainless guns from the early and mid 70s. ALL have had this issue. Became so frustrating, I had a gunsmith secure them with some form of LocTite. Nail polish would not work.
Funny story: 4 years ago, I bought an absolutely NIB 64 pencil barrel, a grail gun for me. When the thumbpiece lug began to work loose while shooting, I felt almost reassured, as though it were an old friend. Seemed as though the 64 had come from a buried "time capsule." Odd, but there it is. Happy New Year!

Very nice shooting Rick.
If it shoots that good who cares how it looks.

Thanks.
Those grips make it comfortable to shoot, but they're almost too squishy. So far I like them.
The red dot looks old schooley and suits it. Best of all the wife didn't grill me over the price of it.

And again...
A coworker pulled my leg a bit, and I tried again, with not too bad a result.
20 yard sand bagged group.
I had a bit of a wobble going on from fatigue from doing a lot of shooting with other guns.
After settling down some I threw down some DA at 15 yards standing, unsupported. Five shots in one.
That's the best I've done in a while. I'm sure the gun helped a little.
A total of 24 rounds.
Ammo was Remington UMC 130gr FMJ.
I'll be happy when I can repeat that at 20-25 yards.
