Default Unscrew eject rod on late 642

Which way
(from muzzle end) to turn to remove the rod on a near new 642 cyl.

its a left hand thread, so you turn to the right to remove ( looking back from the muzzle end)

Very fine threads so go easy once it is started.

Right to remove and wonder why you think it needs removed? Also, do not use pliers - there is a tool made to grasp the rod causing no damage.

Put two or three empty casings in the gun before you start.
