900 rds of 9mm that doesn't work
So I traded for about 900 rounds of this RWS lo lead 9mm made for low lead indoor ranges. I tried it and it won't function in any of my third generation or M&P pistols. I am wondering what to do with this stuff when Lee Barner emails and asks if I know a value on a 547. I told him it was high on my list of wants so we posted a thread for advice on value. ( I didn't think it was right for me to suggest a value when I was interested in buying it ). Lee gave me a very fair price and now I know what to do with all that low powered

What's not to like ? That's one I've never even seen in-person.
How does one get to be added to THAT email list, btw?

3" K-frame in 9mm, what's not to like? Are the moon clips hard to find?

Interesting gun. Has a special extractor so therefore doesn't use moonclips.

My 3 inch M-547 shoots as well as I can hold it. I never Ransom Rested it but good quality ammo (like Federal's 115 gr-jhp) shoots very well.

That's an elegant solution....
That's great to be able to use a revolver for those. I just had thought though, that a lighter recoil spring from Wolf might allow one of the semis to cycle.

Nice
I like the way you problem solve.
547 is a cool little K-frame.

COOL! Can you post a picture of that extractor star? Does it have spring-loaded parts or hardened steel wires or something installed to catch the rims?

Congratulations on the 547! I would really like to have 1. (not really sure why) I have never touched or fired one. I just like the idea. Bob

The 547 is an excellent solution and proof once again that semi-autos are a passing fad. I have gotten a few boxes of 45 GAP given to me because someone bought the wrong kind of ammo by accident. It shoots fine in my 625. you just have to make sure you clean out the chambers after you are done, like shooting 38 in a 357. Congratulations on the 547.
