Default New Culina Grips for my 625-5

Just received my latest pair of grips from John and Jen Culina, this time a set in Gaboon Ebony for my Model 625-5. The fit is perfect as usual:

In normal inside light the brown highlights can't be seen and the grips look completely black. But in sunlight or a camera's flash they pop out very nicely.

Very nice! Are those his round to square conversion grips? I'm thinking of getting a pair for my 629 but have been holding off wondering what the fit looked like.

Keith, they are a perfect color for stainless steel.

The grips look fantastic on your 625. John's grips are all works of art.

They are round to square conversions. That's why I included a shot of the backstrap to show how nicely they fit and finish the transition.

I love the look of Gaboon Ebony ! A good friend of mine uses it from time to time on his custom hand made longbows.
No offense meant, but your photos just don't do the beauty of that Gaboon Ebony justice!!

Yup, I know. Considering I'm the son of a professional photographer (Herrington & Olson Photography in Oakland, CA) I'm pretty ****** at it most of the time. Indoor shots are always my worst.
