Default Need holster recommendations for 500 4"

Hey guys,

Well I did it, hit the buy now button at buds for a Model 500 4" and I'm pumped. Now I definitely want a leather belt holster for it. Its been about 10 years since I bought my last gun leather and that was from Rudy at Black Hills leather. I'm not sure I want to wait that long for one of his customs, so I've been googling it and so far the belt holster from Smith (Desantis) looks nice and is lined, but it's expensive. Then there is the Galco one that's looks nice in the pics but it doesn't say if it's lined or not. The other one I've seen is the one from hunter which I'm not real fond of at least from the limited pics I've seen.

So I'd be interested to see what you guys are wearing with some pics if possible. Besides the holsters I mentioned I'd be open to custom options too if the wait isn't toooo long. I paid with ACH at Buds which takes about a week to process and ship, then I have to wait another 10 days to DROS the darn thing so I have a couple weeks I guess to shop holsters. Thanks and thanks again for chiming in on my other post on the 500 as well.

Chris

Hi, I carry my 586 6" in a Mernickle crossdraw belt holster. They start around $ 70. and go up wait time depends on how busy they are.
