Default Opinions on possible trade

Hi everyone.
New member here and I was looking to get opinions on a trade I may try to make tomorrow afternoon.
The other party has a 648 I believe a dash 1 or 2. It has the black rubber grips and in very good condition with no box.
I am interested in his 648 and he is interested in one of my 63 kit guns.
The two on top are both no dash pin barrels new with all papers and cleaning kit. The one on the bottom right is a 63-3 round butt in new condition in a non original box. If I do a trade I had probably rather part with it and maybe a little cash if need be.
If I traded one of the other two, I'm thinking I would need some boot ( cash ).
What do you guys think? I don't think he will do a straight sale but I may make an offer. I know what he has in it lol.
Thanks for any opinions or info.

The -2 has the lock and I wouldn't trade any of those pre-lock guns for a lock-gun. Not straight up, anyway.

The -1's go for some pretty serious coin, IINM. Like $1,000 plus. High demand, and not many were made. If I could get a straight up trade for any of those M63's I'd do it.

A pristine no dash M63 in the box might bring something in the $600 to $850 range, but I don't think you can touch a M648-1 for anything near that.

Kernel, thanks for the reply.
I don't think his pistol has the lock but I could be wrong.
I looked at it a few weeks ago when another guy had it.
I'll look closer when I see it or ask on the phone when i talk with the other party. He doesn't live far away. If it has the lock I will probably pass.
Thanks again and any other opinions are welcome.

I was checking the Completed Auctions on Gun Broker. Even the locked guns, pristine with box and papers, are selling up in the $1,000 range. Looks like they were only made for a short while in the 2002 to 2003 time frame. Demand is so high, and production so low, people are paying the price, lock or no-lock.

Well the pistol was a 648-2 with the lock.
I offered to trade the 63-3 even. He didn't want to trade even and ended up giving me a cash price so I just bought the 648.
Probably gave about the worth but I didn't really want to give up one of my 63s at this time anyway.
Thanks Kernel for the advice.
