Default Advice on S&W 657

I recently purchased from my LGS a S&W 657 41 Magnum, 8 3/8 barrel, 95%, rubber grips, and no Box.

I paid $750.00.

I called S&W and its year of manufacture is 1987.

I am thinking this was a good deal.

Where are the pics?

I had to pay a little more than that for my 4" 657. I think you did alright.

Pictures will follow soon. I have to amend my CCW.
I live in The People's Republic of New York.
IMHO, these models have good potential to appreciate in value.

I am not sure what advice you are seeking

I love the 41 Magnum cartridge and have 4 8 3/8" 57/657 revolvers, though one is unshootable and was only bought for parts.

I spent the day chronographing. The big surprise was Winchester 210JHP factory load clocking out at 1425 from the 8 3/8"

Good deal on an 'older' 657,will only go up in value as 41M and 10mm are currently in a resurgence of popularity/desireability/collectability.
