That is absolutely normal except the square nut is supposed to be under the lip on the rear by the hammer.

Aha!
I was looking at that nut and was thinking that there is no way that is a sound design. At first, I didn't notice that the frame had a ledge for the nut since the gun is all black now. Looked again and there it was!
