I need a Hammer for 624
I recently bought a very nice 624 no dash 3". But, someone before me bobbed the hammer spur. I need a new hammer to replace the existing one. Anybody got a suggestion...OR, have one for sale?

If you go to Numrick Gun Parts Corp. you can find some hammer assemblies in stock. It might be a direct drop in or you might have to do a little work to make it run, which is normal in a hammer replacement. I've done a replacement on my old 27-2 and it was a drop in replacement with no modification necessary.
EDIT: Here's a link to the page. The hammer assemblies are part number 46, right here

If you need to do any fitting at all, likely you will only have to switch the sear on the new hammer assembly out and replace it with the sear from the current hammer. Very simple.

I checked Numrich, but the pic shows a case colored hammer though the description says stainless. Guess I need to call them.

Don't you mean the double action stirrup? The actual sear is a part of the hammer.........I did the swap on a 27.......Only has to swap out the double action stirrup.
