Default Canted barrel?

Just browsing Armslist and came across something I was pondering buying. More of an impulse buy but the price was good. That was until I looked at the barrel. There's only one picture in the ad, but does this look canted to you guys?

Default Ask the seller....

Ask the seller to provide a head on picture. Only way to be sure. I think S&W allows +/- 5 degrees, which I think is a LOT.

The barrel on that model resides in a shroud so it cannot be canted.

The shroud has a locator to interface withe the frame.

I have yet to any X-frame with shroud or front site issue.

You can see the top rail on the shroud aligns with the frame in your picture.

Where the barrel meets the frame the contours of each part don't even come close to matching. It looks odd IMHO. Like that barrel wasn't even meant for that frame. Is that normal with X frames?

I checked the photos in the 2014 Product Catalog. That's what they look like. The regular models (non-Performance Center) have much better conforming contours.
