Default Mika holsters

A few months back I ordered a pocket holster from MIKA and received a call that it would be ready in about 4- 6 weeks. It has been well over two months and any attempts of contacting them has received no answers. They only have an Email, no phone number and have make it hard to contact them.
Has anyone here had any experience with MIKA? I appreciate any feedback.

I got a Mika pocket holster for my shield this year.It took well over 2 months. He called me immediately after I placed order to make sure it was correct .But their was no communication until it showed up at my door months later. Including no answer to email. But the holster was well worth the wait.

He's been really busy for a long while now. My last holster took over two months to arrive. But he's a great guy and he will deliver your holster, I guarantee! And it will be what he promises it will be. I know it's hard to be patient waiting on a holster, but it seems like any holster really worth it's price has a waiting list these days. Hang on tight ... it'll come!

l sent him an e-mail two months ago with a question. No response was received, so last week, I sent him another. He immediately contacted me and explained that a personal matter had came up, and he had to step away for a period of time. I really want one of his holsters for my 60 snub, but, two months or more doesn't fit my time frame. I even tried for one on e-bay a few days ago, but lost out. I was hoping to find one on this forum, and will do a Want to Buy shortly.

He is without a doubt somebody you can trust. Not sure what his current situation is, but for sure he is not trying to rip you off.

I have at least 6 of his holsters, they take a while to get but are worth it.

Have faith. Never had a problem with him, and his pocket holster is a very comfortable home for my 649 every day. Worth the wait.

Order the new Mika holster for your j-frame... it's worth the wait. I got one for my Model 640 way back when they were $15.00 each. I carry my 640 in the pocket holster every day and other than it occasionally collecting some pocket lint the holster is in fine shape and works well.

Robert Mika is a quality businessman and craftsman. He will take care of you. I have been happy with his pocket holsters. And he's a former LAPD officer, so he understands pocket carry and handguns for certain. Worth the wait. Bought one for an LCR and was gifted one for a 642.

Default Mika holsters

Mika is a stand up guy. His products are the best and he stands behind them. If he didn't get back to you he must have something going on that's taking him away from the business . I have been using his holsters for 20 years and they are as good as the day I got them.

I have had good luck in the past. Ordered another holster from him this spring. After almost 3 months I emailed him with an inquiry. And recieved no responce. After a few weeks more I disputed the payment and he immediately returned it. Would have much rather got the holster as I really like his work. I hope what ever he is going through is not serioud.

There must be something bad going on with him, hope he & his are well. I got one 20 something years ago & love it. He even wrote my name in it & signed it. Very personal.

I ordered a holster from him toward the end of April, and I'm still waiting, also. I emailed him and got no response. I then called and left a message - no response. I waited a while and thought I'd try to call one more time and then just count my money as a loss. I called and Mr. Mika answered the phone. He explained that I could expect a wait time of about 12 weeks, so I'm trying to wait patiently. He did assure me that I would receive my holster, however.

I have purchased 5-6 holsters from Mr. Mika over the last 10 years or so. At least half of the orders were followed-up (in minutes) with a telephone call from him to me and then a 30-45 minute conversation about holsters, revolvers, and other stuff. I've found him to be a good guy and really like his pocket holsters. It takes awhile to get them once ordered, but that is because they are not mass produced. Count this as another vote of confidence for Mr. Mika.

Bob Mika is 110% reliable. His pocket holster is outstanding. I got the curved bottom one for the 442 right after Mas Ayoob recommended him on one of the TV programs many years ago. Still going strong after all these years.

Hi,
I ordered a Mika pocket holster for a Sig 938 and a week later decided to sell it and buy a Sig P365. Once I made the decision to switch guns I sent Mr. Mika an e-mail explaining that I would like him to adjust my order.

When I placed my order there was a note on the website stating that the current wait time was 12 weeks. Yesterday, I sent him another e-mail mentioning the pistol change to my order. It had been eight weeks since I placed the order and I just wanted to make sure he would make the holster for the correct gun. Within thirty minutes he called my cell phone and I must say he really is a very nice guy and aims to please. He said that my holster would be made this coming week which would make my wait time nine weeks.
