S&W 631, 32 H&R Unmarked ,Value
Friend of Mine has a 631 S&W that is not marked "Ladysmith".
Saw one on GB priced at 2795.00. A little ridiculous I think. What would be a reasonable price for a NIB one of these. I was told around 190 of these exist. Will post pics Monday.

This question comes up more often than we might expect; seems there are quite a few two inch 631s not marked "Ladysmith." I suspect, but have no way to know, there are quite a few more than 190 of them. I paid $600 for a 98% two inch "Ladysmith" two years ago. Wouldn't pay much more for a used non "Ladysmith" version. NIB with box and papers would likely be worth considerably more; just my SWAG but perhaps $1500. See this earlier post for additional information:

Only a well advertised "gun" auction will tell you. The collectors will set the price.
