M43C - wow!
My FFL got two of these in this week:
Product: Model 43 C
Really nice little guns, well finished, no lock for those who care about that, amazingly lightweight, and my buddy fired one and says it's an easy gun to use with, obviously, no recoil. 8 rounds. Trigger felt somewhat heavy - I didn't fully dryfire it because it was a rimfire but it's somewhat stout but not insurmountable. Pretty cool for a hideaway gun methinks!

I like the gold dot Patridge front sight. That would look good on my M640-1.

This is the only modern S&W revolver I have found an interest for.

It's a .22 - why would that bother you?

Personal preference, that's all. Same with the 617.

I bought one when they first came out and the forcing cone and front of the cylinder leaded up so bad the cylinder wouldn't turn after about 25 rounds.

Maybe add a vintage T-grip.

This is the best advice! I have been shooting 22lr for Steel Challenge competition since 2012 in revolvers. Ammo makes all the difference in the world.

I purchased a 43c last month. The Build Quality is good. The trigger is hard but seemed to get better with time. The loaded weight is around 13 oz. It Is So easy to pocket carry that I never leave it behind. My wife and I went shooting on Friday and this little jewel never missed or malfunctioned. We used CCI Velocitors. We also shot the Grand Power K22S which did require an occasional second or third strike to fire.

Just ordered one from my lgs last week. Looking forward to receiving it. Hard to beat eight rounds in that little package.

Got it late this afternoon. 11.4 oz on my scale; 12.35 oz loaded with Winchester Super X.
What a hoot! Didn't hit a lick out of the first cylinder with a two-hand hold. One handed I got 5 of 8 into a 1½" diameter aspen tree stump that's 8 yards from the deck.
Trigger was better than my M&P 340 or 640 Pro out of the box. I always train one handed with those two so I'm not sure why I thought I needed to start off with two hands for the .22. The only thing I regret is waiting so long to get this. I didn't even mind those itsy-bitsy rubber grips. More fun ahead.

I love my 43C as I've about 500 rounds through it, ranging from Stingers to CCI's quiet round (about 950 fps). Not a ftf nor any other problem with any of the rounds I've used. great little gun. Now I want the 351C same revolver only in 22mag.
