lucky me just bought a 686-3, 4". The previous owner said it has not been fired, exept to get the german proof marks, after close inspection this could be true.
I would be very much interested to know when it was manufactured ... serial number starts BNN.
So I took it to the range numerous times, shoots like a dream. It's wearing pachmayr presentation grips and has a Wilson Combat hammer spring now.
I settled with the safariland comp 2 speedloaders.
