Default Help identifying Smith-Wesson factory grips?

I bought a model 63 the other day and it came with bone grips. The guy I bought it from said the grips were a factory option. I can't find any information to verify this. Any info would be great.

I don't know that S&W ever provided stag/bone stocks from the factory for the M63. If they did, I'm pretty sure they would have had S&W insignia inserts. The stags are a good choice though for the M63; I have a set on mine. Enjoy.

Beautiful set set of stags. If you don't like them, though, I and a lot of other folks would be happy to trade you a nice set of correct factory wood for them. Enjoy!

Those are real beautiful grips, but they aren't stag; they're definitely bone. It appears who ever made them burned the grips to appear stag. I agree that if they came from Smith that they'd have the emblems on them. I'm not familiar with that makers mark but hopefully someone will know to answer your question on who made them.
