Default Help with price to sale 686

I have a 686 I'd like to sale, any opinion on a price good for buyer and seller both would be appreciated.
What I know:
Mod 686. 6"
Ser. # 2**x2
Has S stamped sideways under barrel, but also has the M stamp.
1980's
Leupold 2X scope
Nylon side rib strap holster included
Small dent in wood grip
I do not have original rear sight

Thanks

Kinda depends on where you live, but $850 to $1000 would be fair.

Believe it or not, proper spelling will give you a lot more credibility.

I'd say it's an $800 gun.

How much did the scope cost?

The gun by its self and missing the rear sight would be around $700 - 750. Maybe more maybe less depending on how quickly you need to get rid of it.

You'd probably be better off selling the scope separately. Most people won't want the scope and the scope can be shipped anywhere which makes it easier to sell.

I'd like to see them leave staying together, sentimentality, had it since mid 80's.
But I did check, 1 on ebay now going for around $150, 17 hrs to go.

Put them on one of the auction sites and you'll realize your maximum price.
