Default 986 brass issue

After several firings and reloads in my 986 the primer pocket gets smaller and is impossible to seat a new primer. I use the crimp removal chamfer tool in order to re-use the brass. I use winchester brass and the loads are nowhere near maximum. It appears to me that the bushing the firing pin goes through is below flush with the frame and upon firing the brass is pushed into this recess and after two firings into the primer pocket. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

How hot are you loading this brass? I've reloaded thousands of rounds of 9mm (but shot is mostly semi-auto's) and have never experienced that.

Just measured on my 986. The center of firing pin bushing is .0025" proud of the frame. The Winchester brass I use in this gun is only through its third reloading with no problem seating primers so far.

I know my 986 will leave a ring on the base of the brass from the firing pin bushing, but so far it has not affected the brass.

Sounds like (I use the crimp removal chamfer tool in order to re-use the brass may be the issue), Maybe deforming the primer pocket.
