Default Unusual 686

I have a 6" barrel 686-3 in very good to excellent condition. It would be easy to determine its value except that it is Midnight Blue. Apparently they made some coated stainless 686-3 that looked like a 586. No box or papers.
Any idea what the value might be? I haven't seen one before.

Thanks

Depending on condition, these can go for 25-50% more than an equivalent standard 686. The finish on these was noted to not be very durable, which may have been related to the type of stainless steel used, as the current M & P semiauto line has a Melonite finish on stainless slides that wears well.

106rr, would you post a photo of your 686-3. I am interested in seeing how it looks.
