I joined the forum mainly to ask these questions, but I find it interesting reading so I'll hang out some in the future.

I have a 686 with 6 inch barrel my brother gave me in the mid nineties, and I've shot it very little since a Taurus Tracker Titantium in 41 and a couple of SBH, 44 and 45, occupy most of my reloading and shooting time.

What I do like about this one is the trigger..... it is fantastic. But I just don't have a use for it, so I think I will sell or trade it it.

Should I send it to the factory for the mods or leave it as is, making sure the buyer knows of the recall?

Whether or not the modification has, or has not been done will not reflect on the value of the firearm imho. Mentioning that it has not been back to the factory is just being honest in your description when selling.
