Default Model 626

I remember seeing something from years ago, but can't seem to find it. My lgs has what he says is a S&W 4" model 626 - SS 44 magnum. I don't see much or anything about a model 626 but he says that is the correct model. I'm going to check it out, but anyone have knowledge of this pistol ? I am thinking of getting it just "because"

Thanks, no wonder I could only find info. on a 626 pro/competition model. I just sent my shop a note, maybe he just mistyped. I'll have to go check it out in person.
Thanks again!

Think $599 is good ? I thought it was at first, but when I look it up my books say it's priced at about what it's worth. I know books aren't always the greatest. I'm picking up another gun from him on Thursday, I'll take some pics.
