Default Adjustable Front Sight High Vis Mod?

Is there a way to modify an adjustable front sight for high visibility? For example a insert like a Trijicon HDXR Night Sight.

Is it worth doing this?

I recently bought some Glow-On paint. It is available in different colors. It requires a light source to "charge/activate" them. Glow is pretty bright. You may wish to investigate this option. Bob

Thanks. Your idea is the least destructive. I have pondered having the post replaced with a dovetail for aftermarket parts. The alternative would be to drill it for a tritium insert.

Id go with bananaman's advice. It's simple, inexpensive, and reverasble. Adjustable front sight guns arent too common and usually command a premium. If it were me, I would want a solution that's easily reverable back to original condition.

I'm thinking about buying a second front sight leaf (less than $50) and milling it for a dovetail to fit a front Trijicon HD XR™ Night Sight. I need to see if the dimensions work. This solution is more pricey, but I get the best of both worlds.
