Default Quick price check

I'm looking at this model 64-7 for sale locally here in Texas. Lightly use by the owner who was the gun given to him by his father. He say his father bought 10 years prior.

He is asking $525, I'm looking for a decent shooter for some light bullseye and bowl pin match with some friends.

To much for the gun or should I just go look for a beat up police trade in?

Seems a little high to me, but not too far out of line.

I'd be interested at $450 otd if I was looking for one, but I'd be more interested in finding a model 65 in 357 mag.

There's also plenty of less expensive shooters out there like to police trade ins you mentioned that will shoot just as nice as this gun.

Agree I was think $525 was straight market value, looking to pick up a 357 snub later in the year if I could grab this gun for $425 or less.
