Default 629 3 inch buy today

Bought these 629-4 3 inch with unfluted off a local guy about 5 miles from my place .We said he bought it off a smith rep years ago.Said its suppose to be 1 0f 250 .How would I findout if it's true serial number is ccl29xx

Great gun, great -4 endurance package, I love the no flutes, and the 3" should be very concealable. I'm very jealous.

So was it just a catolog gun .Or a limited run from smith or Horton and how many they make

If it's a Horton gun you can shoot Earl at Lew Horton an email and you'll get a quick response as to whether it was on of theirs.

My Lew Horton 3" M629 (happily long since sold) did not have the unfluted cylinder. I think they made 2500 or maybe even 5000 of those. This one could easily be from a much smaller run.

It's lew horton .I emailed them and they got back to me .Ands going to send me a letter .Was delivered to Horton in 1997.So what's it worth these days .No box

Well, it depends on the condition, and the buyer. But, I'm sure you could get $1000+ without too much effort.
