Default Rifled .410 Slugs in Governor

It is safe for the rifling the barrel to shoot the rifled .410 slugs in a Governor. I do not want to damage or ruin the rifling.

Thanks in advance!

The rifling in the barrel is much harder than the slug.

Hard to imagine how the slug could damage the rifling.

I don't know how they'd harm a barrel, I say choot em.
A couple weeks ago I found some Win. 2.5" slugs that although had some age to them, were still pristine in the 5 rd. box. It's been a while since I've shot any .410 slugs in 3" let alone in 2.5 and I had forgotten how light of projo they had. They seemed to shoot ok though at my typical 10 yd. governor range with no adverse effects detected whatsoever. Don't know that I'd carry them for serious work, either hunting or SD but they're fun to shoot. Wish I had some more.
