I'm not familiar with the Governor's grip size, but this is the list that the 500 grips will fit. They left off the 629 N round grip which I use on my 629 Mountain Gun. If you're frame is not on the list call Smith. By the way these grips are designed for round butt frames only that will convert to square butt.

IIRC, both the gov. and 500 have K sized grip frame.
