You are a mean man! What a lovely group. I have a 7 1/2 competitor with the weights 629-6 scoped. Don't even need a rifle inside of a hundred yards with that one. Great pic, thanks.

basskinginthesun -> we have very similar tastes in S&W's! I have a few of those! Love the slab-sided revolvers! I wish I had more! Your collection sir is outstanding!
I even have one of these unusual PC models!

hunter mania
I just love the looks of any slabside revovler, , as for the kylon touch it is the only project gun out of the whole collection, its a competitor with the internal lock removed, plugged and then cerakoted. It was done and owned by a good friend..... its the one that started it all, couldnt find a competitor without a lock so made one ,lol
MAZER very nice even have one of the hard
to find 7 1/2 inch stainless hunters, ive never seen one in person so its rare to me.

I discovered my Light Hunter at a local gun store. This was a couple of years ago. I knew the owner and this was ANIB. It had been fired less than a box. A bit of discussion and it came home:
I sincerely believe any "Hunter" is a worthy addition to the arms chest.

Wow, nice group of guns. No wonder they are hard to find. Who makes the light colored grips with the dark stripes? Those are sweet, what wood is it?? Larry

those are a special order from Culina, they are made from black and white ebony, they get a batch of the wood maybe once a year and have a waiting list everytime I ask for some to be made , pricey too. just give them a call and John or Jen usally can give a time frame. very exotic and beautifull wood

That collection is beyond amazing! No slab sides in my collection...yet. I have a rare bird in the works though. Thanks for sharing.
