Any 2016/17 complaints on the Revolver locks

Hey guys just curious if there has been any recent complaints on the Revolver locks. Everything I am reading is 4 or 5 years old. I just bought a 686 plus and I had never even herd of such a thing till after I bought it. I had a 686 back in the mid 90's but had to sell it off. I have regretted it every since. So not even knowing about this dang lock thing I have to wonder if I made a bad decision.
I know it can be removed but I don't really want to alter a brand new work of art. what are your thoughts in 2017 on this fading issue?

Since neither the lock, the material it's made from or the process used to make have changed, why would 2016 - 2017 be any different???

If you have to ask, you shouldn't buy one as you'll lose sleep over it, your wife will end up running off with the 80 year old next door, your children will petition the court to have you judged mentally insane, a comet will strike your house, and you'll found out you were adopted and your real last name is Hitler.

Please God, let this horse die once and for all......
