I'm not so sure about using that load in a 25 or 625 in 45 Colt. If I had one, I probably wouldn't shoot that load in it. It might be safe, but it's going to give an N frame a beating.
"These loads are safe in all large frame Ruger revolvers, TC Contender, and Colt Anaconda. These loads are safe in all modern Model 1892 leverguns as well as all Winchester & Marlin 1894’s. These Heavy .45 Colt +P loads are NOT intended for the New Model Vaquero (small frame). DO NOT USE IN ANY OTHER FIREARM."
Ruger makes a nice DA .45 Colt. Good luck in your decision.
Don't want something expensive but can take the punishment? - Ruger Blackhawk. Redhawks can do it too, but they are a few hundred more.
I have two 25's, and those only see target (fun to shoot for me) loads. I have an old three screw Blackhawk and a Freedom Arms 83 in .454 if I feel like getting my knuckles rapped.
