Lew Horton 629-4 3" serial number range
Gents, purchased a 3" barrel 629 unfluted cylinder as a Lew Horton special. It does not have the original box, therefore I do not have a product code. The serial starts with: CCL30xx
Trying to determine lineage of this fine specimen.
Thank you,
Dean

Call Lew Horton. They'll tell you if it was one of theirs. Send you a nice letter too.

The CCLxxx serial has been reported belonging to the 3" 629-4 Classic Carry product code 103658 listed on page 310 in the 4th Edition Catalog.
Although it says 1999,that is 2 years after the introduction of the 629-5,a special order numbers has been reported with 8022 on the box.
