3" Model 13-3 factory DAO?
A local shop took in a bunch of NIB Smiths as part of a consignment deal. One is a 13-3, 3", round butt, with a factory bobbed hammer. It has a green(ish) insert in the front sight. I didn't have time to really look it over, but I'm going back this week. It was tagged at $650. Box, papers, everything.
The consignee is a Smith collector with some really good stuff, most of it J frame .22s.
Is this a configuration anyone here has seen before?

Smith made DAO on contract for various police departments, NYPD being one, but they ordered 4" guns.

EDIT: Following up....here is my Model 13 with 3" barrel, round butt. It is absolutely one of my favorite carry guns. Gets a little less IWB holster time in the summer because of sweat, but it's in the rotation a few days a month in the winter. Perfectly balanced. Would like to have a DAO version.

I would be a buyer at that price - regardless of pedigree. I have a 3-inch Model 13 and absolutely love it.
