I have a chance to buy a 649 no box . He bought it new in 98 or 99 he thinks. shot it two or three times. great shape. What are they worth.

I got a 649-1 off Gunbroker last year for $300. Pachmyers, no box, nice shape. I thought that was a pretty good price. I don't think it would be easy to do that again.

$400.00 on average. Try for $350.00. 357 or 38? IMO, the best "J" frame of them all. Good luck.

I don't like rubber grips so I made these from a piece of elk antler sold for a dog chew.
