Anyone recognize the engraver on this 65 3 inch...........
...........or what I think is their mark?
Thanks for any thoughts on the engraver who might have done it.

Billy my old eyes are not the greatest but I think it is an A with the crossbar extended and curving up on the left side of the character.

The Firearm Engravers Guild of America can probably give you some help.

Thanks to Firewire the artist who engraved this revolver is identified.......
.........at firewire's suggestion I contacted Mr. Charles Bleile, the Historian for the Engravers Guild and he very promptly identified the engraver as the late J. R. French of Irving, Texas.
My appreciation to both of these gentlemen.
