Default 69 Sights and Hammer

Hey all,

Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm not at all versed in SW model designations/parts availability, etc.

I'm really liking my model 69, the only things I would change are have a spurless hammer and a more snag free rear sight. Is there anything like that out there?

Thanks in advance!

For a spurless hammer you can use an Apex Evolution...

Details

For a more snag-free rear sight, change to a Cylinder & Slide fixed rear - these were used by S&W on the Night Guard series of guns...

Adios,

Fantastic, Thank you!

I saw the Apex kit but did not know if being five shot mattered, but it looks like what I want.

A hacksaw would be a lot cheaper.

I did that to a spare hammer for a GP100 that turned out real nice. Was thinking that here, but haven't tried to find a spare hammer to work with. Also, the GP hammer was pretty hard all the way through, wasn't sure if this would leave a soft spot on the S&W hammer (never worked with mim stuff).

The Power Custom spurless hammer looks good too. Anyone try one of these yet?
