Mod 66-5 grips
Picked up this nice 66-5 a couple of weeks ago in great condition. Thought the price was fair at $550 otd . Sorry for the poor picture. I have been told that these came with Uncle Mikes Grips. Is this correct? If not, what are the correct grips? Grips had no bearing on my purchase, just curious. Btw, I know some don't like the later dash models, but this one is as smooth and accurate as a couple of earlier 19's I own

I believe they started putting Uncle Mikes on the 66-4 series. Nice looking gun.

Not a thing wrong with the -5 models of the 66, and best of all, they were the last made without the lock. If I remember right, the stocks were Hogue monogrip rubber on the guns from the factory. Hard to beat 'em for comfort, and it's always easy to get a different set to dress up your 66 for fancy nights out.
