Model 13 PC?
Saw a really beautiful carry gun yesterday... A 13-? {forgot to look} Performance Center.
Matt blue finish, 3" barrel, round butt with nice wood grips. The barrel has quad Mag-Na-Port slots.
Was in perfect condition. Don't think it had a box... Asking price was a grand...wasn't sure if that was reasonable or not...
Anyone have one?

Model PC-13 made for Lew Horton according to the 4th Edition. 400 units made and marketed as a "Very serious carry revolver." Sounds like $1K might be a good price.

You should buy it, it truly is a very special revolver.....
I had a copy of the original sales flyer somewhere and have posted it before, unfortunately I can't put my finger on it at the moment, so you'll have to deal with the real deal
There were two versions made, seperated by a short few weeks, for Lew Horton.
The first had the quad ports on the barrel, the second had the ports moved up to the barrel rib, both versions shown above.
Very neat and serious revolver, they shoot great.
Last note, this was one of only two revolver models made with this sexy gently swooped (bobbed) PC hammer, the other was a 3" M19 also made for Lew Horton, pic below
Enjoy

It's a fair price. I would encourage you to go ahead and buy it for $1K (or less of course)

I'd jump on it. I believe that gun to be highly sought after. The PC called that gun the "ultimate combat revolver" and that might have been right. In any case, it is a cool gun built back in the day when the PC was a first class operation. Unless the gun is shot to heck you'll be getting a pretty darn nice revolver.

If the s/n prefix starts with JPC it's a product code 170063.
If it starts with HPC it's a product code 170059.
Sources say 400 of each were made in February - March of 1995.

Thanks for all the replies... I ended up passing on it as I have a 65-3 3" as well as a 3" 66-2.
Not sure if it had the box and paperwork but it looked like it had hardly been fired at all let alone carried.
If anyone is looking for one send me a PM...
