Default Do Current Production Revolvers get an SAT?

I usually buy older stuff and revolvers with fixed sights.

I was curious if the new, adjustable sight revolvers, come with an SAT of some sort? Had a friend pick one up and it didn't come with one.

Thanks

Not any of the ones I've bought in the last few years.

Only if they have adjustable sights. I'm not sure if they have stopped them all together. It's been a few years since I have bought an adjustable sighted S&W, seems they have all been carry guns.

I bought a new 629 last year that was made in 2015 and it didn't come with one. Wouldn't cost anything to call S&W customer service and ask.

I think he is going to call and ask but figured I would come to the place with lots of experience.

Thanks for the answers.

I have picked up a couple of the ones like above over the years and some of the old oval Law Enforcement give away ones. I will probably give him one of those if he wants.

I called S&W about 5 or 6 years ago when I got my Stealth Hunter and they said nope, they quit providing those a few years ago. I told the guy for what I paid for that pistol they should have given me a brand new set of Brownells with it. He just laughed.

My first thought was "They go to college now?"

It's early. I need coffee.

After reading the initial post I sat on my revolver for 10 minutes and nothing happened.

Seriously, I bought 4 s&w revolvers in the last few years and got no sat.
