Default 10-8 value

While picking up another gun I found a nickel 10-8 3D serial number at my lgs. They are asking $495 for it. Nickel not too shiney, rubbers, pinned.
What thinks the forum, ok deal?

Reasonable, but I'd like it better if it was under 500 dollars after tax. Those were 400 dollar guns not so long ago. Maybe I'm a skinflint.....

Let me think.....nickel model 10-8 for $495.....tax check (found money) $495. Coincidence? I think not! A little bit of Flitz and that nickel will shine like new money.

Well I went back and got this....had to wait 10 days...but picked it up on my birthday. Nickle was a little cloudy, some small scratches, rubbers. Only one place in my county carried flitz. Ordered some Thai grips. Got it cleaned up and took it out to shoot it. Very nice.
