The things that some people do (just make you shake your head)! I just picked up a very nice condition 686 no dash with an 8 and 3/8 inch barrel and a four position adjustable front sight. Only one problem the previous owner had the gun drilled and tapped for scope mount which was included along with a M8 4X stainless colored Leupold pistol scope. The main issue is it was drilled and tapped for an N frame scope mount that did not even fit correctly on the gun. The good news is you will only see one little tiny bit of the front hole, once I find a rear sight that is correct for the gun. You can clearly see that it did not fit and I do not know why somebody would try to attempt something on such a clean firearm! The good news is after I sell the scope and the mount I will have the gun for a very reasonable amount of money.
