Default The "Troublemaker" Smith

So, here's the one that started it all. The first gun that I bought for myself back almost 25 years ago, my 66-3. I call it the 'Troublemaker' because I liked it so much I started buying a bunch more Smiths!

Not perfect/collector condition, but still very nice. The combats are very comfortable, and I think they make the gun look even better. This M66 shoots lights out for me, with one of the sweetest triggers on any Smith that I own. Single action is just a gentle press, and the accuracy I get out of this k frame is awesome.

It's not the fanciest gun ever made, nor the most collectible gun out there, but I like it a lot. Guess I'll keep it...

You guys have any pictures of your first...?

That is a sweet looking revolver, dmar. You have every right to be proud of that keeper!

My first was a kgp100.

I broke it. Destroyed the force cone in it. Had it warrantied and sold it. Then I bought a 686 to replace it. But this was my trouble maker as it started it all for me. We learned how to handload together. Shot it with mostly 2400 and H110 powder. Those frames are tough!

Ended up shooting my 686 in a similar setup for bullseye shooting.

I'll show both so you see what I mean. So I blame that Ruger (ha!)for me buying all other smiths I have..
