Hi all.Hope you can help. I'm thinking of adding a 64-2 2inch snubby to my collection.Price seems fair at 589 otd including tax and nics. Question is, can anyone tell me when it was made?Serial number is 7D72283.Thank you for any info.

It should be a great shooting little K frame! My 64-3, 4" is 7D921xx, is 1981. You did not mention box & papers with it. This adds some value. I am normally "TIGHT", so the price is high to me. I bought a 10-5, 2" R.B. last year for $329, shipped. I know it is not the same thing, but same platform. Did you try to negotiate the price? Let us know how you make out! Bob

Hope you end up with it! I got a 64-2 about this time last year. I love mine! Great shooting gun. Easy to carry if you want to. Excellent trigger.
