Gun show find
Got a sweet deal on a 67-1 at a local show this weekend. Original box, docs, grips # to the gun. About 98%. Perfect companion to my boxed 15-4 in similar condition.

Good find. I have a 67 no-dash in that configuration and it is a super shooting gun. The balance and feel is the best for shooting .38 Special.

Nice 67! I love it when you find something at a gun show that is worth buying. It is not that often around here. I bought 2 Smiths at the March show. (a 1st for me, 2 in a weekend) I have an early 67 no dash. It is my wife's range gun if you ask her! Bob

One of my great regrets filed under, "... but you can't keep them all" is that I sold a Model 67-1 I owned briefly during the process of building Project 616. I bought it quite reasonably via GB with the idea of using it as the donor gun for the build but ran into a problem of profile mismatch between the full target Model 617 barrel and the semi-target Model 67 frame. I bought mine in a lot lower condition than yours... poor grips and broken rear sight blade along with other wear and tear, but after it got sidelined from the main project I put a nice pair of service grips and a replacement rear sight assembly on it then cleaned it up overall. When done, I had the sweetest factory trigger I've felt in a long time and a nice appearing revolver anyone would be happy to own and shoot, and it sold very quickly for my asking price. Maybe I should have found an excuse to keep it!

I agree! Most shows around here are filled with the regular dealers selling modern semi's, AR's, and some of the newer wheel guns. Of course you do have those that think any old S&W, no matter how pitted, beat or worn, is worth 1K. There are just a few tables that have a gem from time to time. That's really the only reason I make a walk through the couple of local shows...you just never know. I've gotten lucky at the last three shows I've attended.

Very nice Model 67! I like all tapered barrel Smiths!
