Hello all- thanks for all the excellent information that you guys provide.

I contacted Smith & Wesson in respect to this and they first told me that all I needed was part number 293570000 and they have them in stock for around 30 bucks. Then I called them to order and they said that I would have to send the revolver in to be converted as it is an involved process. I poked around throughout the forum and it sounds like this to be done, some bits of information here and there.

For anyone with experience with this – can this easily be done through a part swap? Do I need any additional parts?

I'm obviously not a gunsmith but I'm comfortable in taking a revolver apart and swapping out parts if that's all that's needed

Thank you

Matt

Some folks have good luck just dropping in a trigger, but often some fine fitting is required to get all the contact points precisely where they need to be and in spec.
