Default Thunder Ranch 325...Whatcha think?

The other day, I hunted all over town for a nice revolver. I had just about struck out, when at the last stop I saw this S&W 325. I've been skeptical of the S&W PC stuff in the past, but....man, this one was smooth, well timed, and kinda reminiscent of my favorite older S&W revolvers. I liked the feel of it, the forged hammer and trigger, the light rail, sights, etc. I like being able to keep a slew of loaded moon clips for it. Something in that is kinda fun.

I've only put a box through it so far, cause of ammo shortage, but that was enough for me to realize it was a good shooter, despite the spritely recoil. Could be my hands were a little sensitive since temps were hovering around zero. Unfortunately, it's wearing some ugly old X frame Hogues for now.

Y'all got one? Whatcha think?

I’ve got a 325pd I like a lot and have tried to buy a TR 325 but so far no luck. I like the moons and use EZ moons and keep two reloads in a pill bottle. The N frame scantium revolvers are to me a great asset to the modern revolver. I like the 327s too. Not classy but good firepower in a balanced package. I like the factory Goodyear’s though

I've shot a friend's TRS (remember that old TSS Photoshop when they first came out, teasing Clint after his controversial column? ) and liked it just fine: accurate, lovely action. Me, I still have the 3" 625-3, though - my wife's favorite gun.

Interested in this thread. Was about to jump on a 325 but then a few threads about cracked scandium showed up and put me back on the fence

You might think about Pachmayr Compacs. I use them on many of my S&W wheelguns and I like them.
