Default 610-2 Front Sight

I really hate the "Red Ramp" sights. Anyone know of a replacement Partridge style sight? If I measured correctly from the top of the ramp to the base of the sight abutment .252" Don't want any of the Optic style either. Have those on a 357PD and while they work for steel etc at distance they (to me anyway) suck for targets.

As an aside, in an other thread about the 610 folks were getting miss fires with 40 S&W in a moon clip. First trip to the range with this one, but no miss fires with 40 S&W & moon clips or 10mm Auto. The 10mm Auto was easy to pick the cases out as well.

Hard to beat Dawson for sights.
Here is one that should meet your needs.

Dawson Precision S&W Pinned Black Front Sights - Dawson Precision, Inc.

Lst I checked, they would make custom heights as well.

No affiliation yada yada....

You should also be able to purchase a 'patridge-style' sight directly from S&W to fit your N-frame. Usually, they don't come pre-drilled from the factory for the pin. Just an FYI. A gunsmith drilled, and replaced the one I bought.
