Herrett's Detective grips for J-frame
I have large-ish hands, and since I didn't buy this J-frame for it's maximum minimalism, I wanted some larger grips. Ordered these approx. 8 weeks ago, and they came today. I've used Herrett's for years, always satisfied. Plus, they give them to me for free since I'm soooo good-lookin' (or you could check their website if interested ).
Here it is in it's Bianchi Stinger holster, ready to travel:

Herrett's did a great job checkering around the front strap. That's nice grain too.

Those detectives are sweet.
Never saw them on a J-Frame before.
I've always just used their Shooting Stars..

I picked up a set of Herritts Shooting Ace grips for my M&P340 on this forum. They cover the backstrap and fall below the bottom of the grip by a fraction of an inch. Combined w/a grip adapter it's the perfect fit and allow clearance for a speed loader.

Suit yourself, but I think I have to compromise on how well I like the grip when the gun has to be effectively concealed.
I just ordered my second Herrett's Detective stock, but again not to fit my hand but in their minimum dimensions for concealing a square butt grip frame. The first is on my Security Six and this next one will go on my Smith model 19-4. Both of those guns were intended for open carry by LE, so some accommodation must be made for concealment.
I have that same S&W 60 Pro and like Hogue nylon on it. The snazzy grips that came on it, really unsuitable for handling 357 Magnum, make my nickel 36-1 look really sharp.
