SCS&W 4th says BAF = 1988

S&W never wastes anything so even though the -3s started in 86"...........

I've got two 3" 66-3s I got in 88/89..... it was about 3 years into the Hi-cap "Wonder 9" craze w/ the movies Die Hard and Lethal Weapon...... Dirty Harry (56 in 86) had retired and a 6 shot revolver wasn't worth carrying anymore and revlover sales seemed to be slow........

Is there any major differences between the -2 and -3?

Not in my opinion......IIRC some changes in the Yoke retention system...... unlike when they dropped the Pinned barrel and recessed cylinder features on the -2 I don't think most folks would notice.................................

This -2 doesn't have the recessed cylinder, does that really make a big difference?
