Default 45 GAP in 625JM

Does anyone know if you can shoot 45 GAP ammo in a 625 revolver?

As I understand it, 45 GAP is the same diameter as 45 ACP, but shorter.

So it seems like it should work with moon clips.

Has anyone tried it?

Yes, member "Sheriffoconee" used to shoot .45 GAP through his S&W 22-4 with no problems and decent accuracy.
