Model 19 is also known as the "combat magnum". Your revolver is the fifth variation of that model. The -5 was the change from the pinned barrel and recessed chambers on the cylinder. The P&R revolvers are preferred by S&W collectors as are the shorter barrel guns. Nickel guns were produced in much less volume than the blue guns and therefore bring a slight premium over the blue ones. Six inch guns are considered excellent for shooters due to the longer sight radius. Placing an accurate value on an unseen gun is impossible. It's like asking how much is a car worth.

Sounds like you already identified the revolver pretty well. It sounds like a 19-5 with a 6" barrel in nickel. Your probably having trouble finding direct comparisons because like Jdavis mentioned above it is kind of a rare combo. However the value is more dependent on condition than anything else. Without knowing the condition I'd guess somewhere around $400 to $850. Maybe a little less if in terrible condition and maybe a little more if 100% NIB with all the accessories.

To be clear, the barrel is nickel but the rest of the gun is blue?
