Default New to me: M24-3 6.5"

Just picked it up today. It came in the original box with papers. Looks new and has only a slight turn line on the cylinder. Bluing looks new. Not sure it's ever been fired. Serial number according to the Standard Catalog of S&W appears to have left factory in 1984. Wanted to post pics but can't figure out how to do that.

Looking forward to going to the range with it.

I predict you will love it. I have the 4" version and it's a top 3 favorite in my little collection. Hope you're a handloader; you really need to be to enjoy (and afford) the full range of .44 Special versatility. Welcome to the forum.

Congratulations. You'll enjoy it.

At least I know I really like my 4" one.
