Neat Little Unabtrusive Carry Piece
Not new to me, but a trusted little carry companion. In a Lobo Enhanced pancake, it's easy to forget it's there. I enjoy to carry as well as a model 36, both get their trips from home.

Nice combo. I have the same gun with a very similar carry setup. Ahrends grips? They set that gun off very well.

Yes, Ahrends. I've had great fit with all their grips. Have used on all models about of S&W's, and they do great 1911's also. But for everyday comfort, it's hard to beat the little 640-1. Have a big bite if you want to put a .357 thru it. Not my like for punishment.

Even though my 640 isn't a Pro Series, I have to agree. During the summer she rides in my pocket, and when winter comes along and jeans get worn, I put her in a Simply Rugged Pancake.

640 Pro
There isn't anything any better. Carry it everyday. With the "pachs" it's a pleasure to shoot 357's. I had a action job done on it and it's so smooth. LOVE THEM 640'S!!!!!

I went with Crinson Trace LG 350 grips. Reduces recoil very well.

My Model 60 .357 is a master blaster.
I was shooting around a corner of a house, and it "scorched" the white house paint so bad that a "claim" was approved to re-paint that side of the house!

I also use a owb Azula holster sometimes for my model 36. Perhaps not the quality as the Lobo, but at nearly half the price, a very good holster, and easy to conceal. You can't draw really fast, but I'm not in competition with my friends to see who "can clear leather the fastest" either!
But it's a great little holster found on ebay often. The J frame holster is about 45.00.

My daily carry is a M640-3 .357 with Hogue Goncalo wood grips and Hormany Critical Defense .357 load. Love the Goncalo for it's 3 finger open back strap design. Went to the range last week and thought I was shooting .38's instead of the .357 158gr. FMJ I was shooting. Great recoil control and feel. Carried in an Uncle Mike model 36 IWB daily.
